The Dallas Mavericks are headed to the NBA Finals for the third time in franchise history after defeating the Golden State Warriors 120-110 in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday night.
Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavericks with 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists. Jalen Brunson added 24 points, while Maxi Kleber and Dorian Finney-Smith each scored 18 points.
The Warriors were led by Stephen Curry's 28 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Mavericks' balanced attack. Klay Thompson added 21 points, while Draymond Green had 17 points and 9 rebounds.
The Mavericks will now face the Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, which begin on Thursday, June 2.
